Buenas!!!

Sabeis que silenciosos quitan mas sonido si el central o los dos finales?? Es decir, que suena mas si quitas el silencioso intermedio y dejas los dos silenciosos fianales de serie o si dejas el silencioso intermedio y pones dos colas estilo moto en vez de los silenciosos originales???

Por otro lado alguien lleva las típicas lineas de ebay duales ?? Suenan mucho?

Si quieres gastar poco, pillate una linea de esas de ebay, dan buen resultado en cuanto a durabilidad y suena bien, asi te guardas la de serie para la itv, ademas la de serie con el silencioso intermedio anulado suena un poco a lata, y con las salidas tipo moto tiene mucha resonancia, suena mejor una linea entera

Muy buenas,
No tengo ni idea pero AbaliusS2000 montó no hace mucho un escape single con unos capadores de quita y pon. A ver si podemos quedar para que le eches un vistazo.
Bueno, como el tema me interesa mucho, abro un nuevo post con dudas y preguntas sobre opciones de escapes que pasen ITV.

RESONATOR REMOVAL

The muffler alone cannot always quiet all of the engine noise. Many exhaust systems include a resonator, which acts as a mini muffler, in addition to the regular muffler. They are usually a straight pipe surrounded with sound muffling material. It can be before or after the muffler; on the S2000 it’s before.

The removal of the resonator will increase the sound of the stock exhaust and give it a nice tone that is most noticeable during acceleration and deceleration in the midrange between 4000 and 6000 rpms. So if you want a slightly sportier sound without spending a lot of money on an aftermarket exhaust this is a good mod. It retains the factory mufflers and tail pipes. Cost for the resonator removal by a muffler shop is generally about $40 (Mine was $30 and I tossed in an extra $10 for beer).

Leave the Helmholtz tuve in place and intact. This is the capped off pipe stub that sticks out sideways from the exhaust pipe. It's there to reduce exhaust booming at certain frequencies.

You will want to ask for good clean welds - hey, it's a show car, right? Replace the resonator with a 2-1/4" stainless steel straight pipe, approximately 10" long. Stainless steel is best since it keeps the condensation from rusting the new pipe from the inside out. It’s recommended a hanger be welded on the new straight pipe for support. Save the resonator in case you wish to reinstall it. Be sure it’s cooled off before picking it up.

The change has no impact on performance but there is a minor weight savings of approximately 5 pounds, since the resonator weighs approx 7 lbs.

This may not be a substitute for an aftermarket exhaust such as Fuji legalis R dual or a Mugen but it adds a nice tone which is most noticeable. I haven’t detected any droning and it is only slightly louder than original.

... he's talking about the resonator (located downstream of the CAT and upstream of the mufflers). That way he retains the look of the stock '05 exhaust (oval tips).

Por cierto, un supresor mejora mucho el sonido del escape de serie, eh?
