Greetings all.
It has to be one of (if not ) the lowest mileage examples around, having covered an original 26,400 miles only. I bought the car 18 mths ago with 12,730 miles on the clock from the original owner. The original stereo was still fitted. It had been stored for the best part of 10 years! It has FHSH, and was register late 1991. Cel blue.
Since buying the car I’ve made some changes. The body work is standard, other than 15” wheel (still got the mint originals 14’s. The rears have the tyres it left the showroom with still fitted complete with wheels weights with HONDA stamped on them!)
I've replaced the fuel tank with an original honda part (very expensive!!) as it was corroded inside due to the many years it was stored for. I uprated the fuel pump with a Walbro 255 too. I’ve done the homebrew (MG ZR180 disks with 620 callipers) big brake conversion and fitted Spax coilover.
Under the bonnet I’ve fitted an AEM cold air induction kit, 4-2-1 manifold and a de-cat stainless system. It sound awesome when the Vtec kicks in! I also had an additional silencer fitted where the CAT was as i didn't want it to be too loud. Front and rear upper strut braces and a lower rear are also fitted.
I have a front lower still in it’s bag that I’ve not fitted yet…
The interior is in mint condition, carpets are like new. The car has no rust what so ever but the sunroof has not been done and is bubbling as every other CRX sunroof has. The spare tyre is unused too.
If anyone is interested in the car let me know.
Simon.
P.S. bellow are some coments taken from replies in this thread. Things i forgot to add. I've just fitted a new battery too.
I paid £5400 for it and have spent at a rough estimate £1850 + on it. Not including the new tryes (£200).
I've also just fitted (about 3 weeks ago) 2 pair of 6.5" kenwood 2-way speakers. They cost £160 for both pair. They will be staying in the car. I will have a single disk pioneer headunit too.
..... also just (150 miles ago) fitted 4 new 195/45/15 Toyo proxy T1R's.
The REX has just had a £300 alarm fitted too
I replaced the cambelt, all leads and dizzy cap + wiper blades etc with 1 week of buying it. The engine is a peach, feels just run in ( I guess that it is.....)[
