You've modified your Naturally Aspirated vehicle, now give it the extra fuel it needs. To make that combination of intake, header, exhaust, cams, headwork, etc. run at peak efficiency, you may need more fuel than the stock ECU can deliver. PowerCard is a unique, load based fuel adder which works with the factory ECU. PowerCard's simple push button interface and powerful load based technology render complex table based throttle position/RPM re-mapping systems a thing of the past.
PowerCard has three different modes which correspond to different performance parameters:
Low Load (Cruise) Fuel - is for light load situations, cruising or very light acceleration.
Transition Fuel - This is when you transition from low load to real acceleration and need a proper shot of fuel for the sudden change in load.
High Load Fuel - This is where you are asking for sustained and maximum acceleration or top speed performance.
PowerCard works independently of throttle position and RPM, which are not reliable indicators of load. By looking at duty cycle instead, PowerCard can be tailored to your Miata's specific need. Both the transition points between modes, and total fuel added in each mode, are cockpit adjustable while you drive. PowerCard is perfecto for tuning styles from "butt dyno" to speed shop rolling roads.
Just as driving styles differ, no two Miatas are exactly the same. That is why PowerCard is such a powerful and flexible tuning tool. It allows you, the user, to program when and where additional fuel will be delivered. Not emissions legal.
