From my '06 owners manual:
The buttons in the lower left corner of the instrument panel adjust the brightness of the display in five steps. Push the + or – button five times to see the full range.
To reduce glare at night, the instrument panel dims when you turn the light switch to (on).
Adjust the brightness to the desired level with the headlight switch off, and also with the headlight switch on. Both settings will remain at those levels until you change them.
With the headlight switch on, you can switch the display to full daytime brightness by pushing and holding the + button. Push the – button to return the display to the original brightness.
It also helps set the correct time on the clock. Guess what the + and - key do after you hold down the Clock button until the hours display flashes? That's right...make the numbers go up and down. You mean you never set the clock in the car?

Good start but you left out one little tiny (overly important) step. Press the CLOCK button which is the leftmost button on the left side at the bottom of the instrument panel. Hold the CLOCK button down until the minute numbers start flashing. Once the minute numbers start flashing, press the + or - button to set the time. Once you set the minutes, press the CLOCK button again. The Hour numbers should start flashing. Repeat with the + or - button until the hour is correct. To return, simply press the CLOCK button once again.

http://s2000.com/for...clock-what.html
My 01 has a clock on the radio. Works fine for me. Only MY00 had absolutely no clock (radio or console).

I am assuming that you have a stock Honda radio:
From the MY 03 owner's manual, p. 101
To set the hours, press H (Preset 4) button while pressing CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the H button until the hour advances to the desired time.
To set the minutes, press the M (Preset 5) button while pressing the CLOCK ( SCAN/PRT) button. Press and hold the M button until the minutes numbers advance to the desired time.

To set the hours, press the H (Preset 4) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the H button until the hour advances to the desired time.
To set the minutes, press the M (Preset 5) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold theMbutton until the minutes numbers advance to the desired time.
You can use the R (Preset 6) button to quickly set the time to the nearest hour. Press the R button while pressing the CLOCK button. If the displayed time is before the half hour, pressing R sets the clock back to the previous hour. If the displayed time is after the half hour, pressing R sets the clock forward to the beginning of the next hour.
For example:
1:06 would RESET to 1:00
1:52 would RESET to 2:00
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, the time setting will be lost. To set the time again, follow the setting procedure.

I have trouble with the clock as well. I still haven't reset mine from the time change, but when I do get around to it here is the info I use:
To set the clock:
To set the hours, press the H (Preset 4) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the H button until the hour advances to the desired time.
To set the minutes, press the M (Preset 5) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the M button until the minutes numbers advance to the desired time.
You can use the R (Preset 6) button to quiclky set the time to the nearest hour. Press the R button while pressing the CLOCK button. If the displayed time is before the half hour, pressing the R sets the clock back to the previous hour. If the displayed time is after the half hour, pressing R sets the clock forward to the beginning of the next hour.
That was it, the radio needs to be off and the clock button held down.
Thanks again.
Creo que no me dejo nada.
