The Jun short engine uses only high lift camshaft Type 3 to pull out the maximum capability which a B-type engine has to maximum performance. The usage of the high lift camshaft is to torque up in a low rotation region. In order to achieve it, the cam lift for the low rotation is changed to a high lift. This is to counter any power loss or slack in torques during a change in cam lift . The usage of this type 3 highlift camshaft is so that optimal valve timing is obtained.
Jun's engineers; renowned for their skills and dedications, put in each engine parts together one by one with balance and precision. Vibration in a high rotation region is suppressed to the minimum, and stability is raised because each metal part is adjusted to the optimal clearance with the measured size.

STAGE 1
STAGE1 is the basic composition of short complete engine. It is the specification which can fully enjoy a sport run in a circuit.
STAGE 2
A compression ratio and durability are raised using the JUN Super Piston Kit, this stage is based on STAGE1. Both high output and high reliability are achieved by using the JUN pistons.
STAGE 3
A compression ratio and durability are raised using the JUN Super Piston Kit and the JUN Super Connecting Rod , this stage is based on STAGE1. Since the weight of parts is light, the high response is realized.
In B16B, displacement volume is changed into 1.8L by stroke up.
STAGE 4
A stroke rises by using a JUN custom kit. Consequently, the torque of all regions improves and high power is realized. It is the highest specification in B type engine. High performance is realized on all stages.
All stages of the short engine boost the power of the engine considerably from stock level. The table provided below will give you a grasp of how much power increase your car will get from this mods. Original Max.power of B16A is 152 Hp, B16B is 180 Hp, B18C-R is 208Hp.*
