In March 2013 we supplied Fifth Gear with a Corrado VR6 to see if following a full service and some injector cleaner, whether it would produce more power.  The car was rolling road tested at our premises to get a base reading after which some Redex injector cleaner was added to a full tank of fuel.  After this tank was used, the car was taken to Millbrook Proving Ground where it was rolling road tested again and after each service item was changed.  Eventually the car nearly produced the full 190 bhp - what the footage didn't state was that the car was run on 95 RON unleaded rather than Super Unleaded which the car requires to produce full power - this was done to avoid clouding the effectiveness of the Redex injector treatment as Super Unleaded fuel contains similar cleaning properties.
