Littlebo, here in Germany the snow came and brought a lot last week but this week we are with less snow, nevertheless, monday I went drifting with a 330d of a friend... there I miss the RWD... But man, this winter anyway is not that bad... now is worse but I guess will leave us soon... how is it going with the dealers in Prague about your reflash?

Lets discuss low end bump.  The power been added there, its not hype,   we were able to see 8-12 hp there . But its at WOT.  Part throttle also pulls definately different and solid. Engine can go and pull at very low rpms without stalling like before, and DBW is nothing to do here, its just added power pushes your car !
 
As for TSX.  They have 04-05 , its the same engine as ours,  just slightly different tune ( more aggressive ign and they can run around 100 rpms more )  coz they have different emission standarts and better fuel.   06-08 is upgraded engine which not only produce more top power due to better cams but also responds better at low end due to intake and exhaust mods, their new cat is also less restrictive and so on.  Their MT also has different FD , 4.7 , not 4.3 like ours , so they have more fun to drive with it.

La potencia que se ha añadido, no es mucha, hemos llegado a ver 8-12cv, pero esto con el pedal a fondo. El pedal funciona definitivamente diferente y solido. El motor puede ir y tirar desde bajas revoluciones sin caerse como antes, y el drive by wire no tiene nada que hacer.

 

Respecto al TSX, el de 04-05 tiene el mismo motor que el nuestro (CL9) solo un poco modificado el tune (encendido mas agresivo y puede ir a 100 rpms mas) por los estandares de emisiones y que tienen mejor combustible. El 06-08 es un motor mejorado que no solo produce mas potencia arriba gracias a mejores camaras de combustion sino que también responde mejor a bajo regimen gracias al intake y exhaust mejorados, y el catalizador es menos restrictivo y demas. Los transmision manual tienen también 4,7 de relación final y no 4,3 como el nuestro, por lo que tienen mas diversion.

 

 

Ahi lo llevas, ahora me he ganado al menos un pin J@$~#R...  

 

Respecto a la nieve, aquí no hay tanta pero si esta jodida la carretera, el otro día 4 horas para llegar a praga porque cortó un trozo la policía por un arbol yo creo, me tuve que ir por polonia...

supongo se ha de hacer de alguna manera especial no sea que se "trastoque" la relación de cambio no?

También tengo que decir que mi Accord tiene un grupo final con una relación 5,062:1 igual que el FN2.

Tanto los 7ª como los 8ª automáticos también se pueden reprogramar. Exactamente igual que los manuales.

no hay que tocar nada una vez reprogramado ...

 

 

 

 

Se reprograma la centralita de serie pero es necesario abrirla. Por ahora solo para el K24 desde el 2003 hasta el 2013 y en breve para K20 (2006 - 2008) y R20.

 

Blackflash y yo estamos intentando conseguir que algún propietario de CL9 de la zona de Coruña se preste para hacer unas pruebas comparativas y así tener unos videos para ver las diferencias existentes.

Los frenos te valdrán exactamente igual. En caso de que los notes escasos (no creo), con montar unas pastillas de las buenas es suficiente.

En el tema de frenos, a no ser que te metas en circuito mucho o tengas pensado hacerlo, con los de serie del coche es suficiente, siempre tienes la opción de mejorar los discos y pastillas de serie, ten en cuenta, que los frenos que llevamos en el CL9, son los mismos que lleva el Euro R con el K20A de 220cv, es decir con el motor que va a llevar el sinvergüenza de gran coyote jejejjej

Recuerdad que la repro de potencia maxima da unos cuantos caballos, lo que mejora es sobre todo la curva de potencia, con lo que no estamos hablando de turbar el coche y ganar 60/70 caballos por ejemplo, que en ese caso si que sería recomendable cambiar de frenos e ir por algo más serio.

 

Como me torro escribiendo , no había visto que te había respondido 4ngel.

Gracias a los dos angel e isaac! Es q yo en el automatico le noto poca mordiente de freno vengo de cambio manual y noto bastante dif.

Nope , Euro-R and US TSX  has different set of brakes, it has more massive calipers and rotors have different thickness , 28mm vs 25mm ,  they have more meat and able to accept more heat before they give up.   I used em for a year and can say they are definately better than stock.  At least they stopped me 160-0 3  times in a row and   240-0 they can do without problems,  stockish cant do that.  

 

Reflash isnt related to brakes ,  if you dont like speed tickets you will have same average speed,   just the acceleration is better !  So if they were good for you b4 reflash - they will stay good enough after ,  if they were insufficient - nothing will change here.    Im a speedy guy and they were bad for me since day 1 i got the car lol ))   And my buddy with same car is happy with them.   My avg speed is around 40 ,  his avg speed on same way is around 25,  feel the difference.

Una cosa nueva que aprendo , sabía que tenían la misma medida, 300mm delante, y 260mm detrás, pero no sabía que tenían distinto grosor y afectase tanto, siendo monopiston ambos sistemas de frenado, no como el Accord Type R 6ª que si tenía 2 pistones.

Very interesting info, I didn´t know about the thickness at all. Which set of brakes are you using now in your accord? I may go with an upgrade in brakes for sure, but don´t know too much about what options we have...

CU2 has better brakes than CL9, is it right?
