Im using Brembo GT kit ( 328x32 composite 2 piece rotors ) for CL9, yep , its pricey but ... best money can buy for now.
Brakes must have a balance. Heavy rotors can accept more heat but that weight also affect acceleration , fuel economy , handling and ride quality. You need to remember that keeping unsprung mass low is very important. CU2 has better rotors from the heat capacity point of view but stockish pads are crap and gave up early. CU2 calipers are hella heavy, they been made as cheap as possible (( I dont recommend swapping CU2 brakes to CL9 , you will have more confident braking but you will lose too much in other parameters.
Brake upgrade options are rather wide , euro-r swap , rather cheap and really effective one, lots of custom solutions based on Acura TL or DC5 calipers , lots of BBK kits , rotora , brembo , racingbrake , wilwood and few others. You need to try to increase heat capacity and reduce weight at the same time !!

hi littlebo
could you compare the results with two of the most praised engines of the market?
do you think a 2.4 cl9 reflashed works more or less as a 6L bmw 325 or 330 ???
these atmospheric bmw engines have a powerful and equilibrated range in almost all their revs curve.
or maybe as a golf GTI MK5 200 hpw? but this is a turbo engine with more power in low revs and less in the highs than bmw

hola Littlebo
No difference AT or MT . Its tune for engine , not for tranny .

Stoptech kit is good to go , all parts for em available. but you need to check if they will fit 17 wheels . i guess they will but not into stock ones or spacers needed.
George, i can say for shure that CL9 MT with reflash and headers is faster than Golf GTI mk6 dsg and any bmw 325 . My buddy won the local drag races and his main competitor been tuned 325 with no interior , he had stock CL9, reflash , euro-r tranny .
not shure about 330 , noone of my customers tried vs.

And heres same cars but CL9 isnt reflashed yet.
see the difference ))
To be on vtec all gears with AT tranny you need to use sportshift and rev to the limit , this way you can get all power out of it.
Losses on AT is really big, something like 30hp and 20 hp more than MT, at least stock car usually have 155-160whp and MT on same dyno has around 175-180whp

Look , its not better for AT or MT . Its THE SAME. The only difference between AT and MT - AT transmission has more power losses because of torque converter and also it has longer gears that also affect acceleration. Thats why AT accord is slower than MT for 3-4 bodies on the run.
So you have to compare AT with AT and MT with MT . Thats all. With reflash you will be equal or faster than AT 325 , but not MT one. And with reflash you will be faster than MT Accord !
